The American Psychological Association defines Psychotherapy as a “collaborative treatment based on the relationship between an individual and a psychologist. A psychologist provides a supportive environment that allows you to talk openly with someone who is objective, neutral and nonjudgmental.” https://www.apa.org
Adults
At Midtown Well, we see individual therapy as a collaborative journey to explore maladaptive patterns and limiting beliefs that are no longer working. Through one on one exploration we identify these beliefs and patterns and work together to cultivate change and gain clarity so that you can live a healthier, happier life.
Couples
Intimate relationships can be a great source of pain but can also be the birthplace of joy, love and acceptance. Often these relationships can be difficult and hurtful, leaving us feeling vulnerable and alone. Through couples therapy, we explore these patterns and develop tools to navigate relationships hurdles, improve communication, strengthen the bond and enhance intimacy.
